A Troll’s Eye View of What May Be!
A few weekends ago the NE Wars ‘Gang of Four’ (as in there were 4 of us and we have so much street cred that we must count as a gang) walked through the rooms that in a few months time will echo with the mighty battle cries of boardgamers, roleplayers, and wargamers.
This room, the Atrium, is the proposed site of the miniature war games and any overflow from other rooms. It’s a very big room that has the potential to be a knock out site for the mighty struggles Good vs Evil, Order vs Chaos, North vs South, and Unladen African Swallows vs Unladen European Swallows.
Moving along through secret underground tunnels . . .
. . . we found ourselves in the Ballroom which we considering being Board game and CCG central. The dance floor will of course be used by myself for victory dances whenever my farmer produces more sheep than your farmer in Agricola.
Further gallivanting found us in one of three Salons that we believe might be ideal places for epic roleplaying adventures, since every roleplaying game is better with boardroom style tables and being in a room where you can actually hear your GM. Though this space may end up instead being home to merchants selling their fine and exotic wares.
