And what better way to celebrate the new year than with four days of utter nerditude? Arisia 2010 is coming up in a few short weeks, so get the gang together and pile into your Constitution class compact for the drive to Boston and geek bliss-out. In addition to a gaming room, Arisia has everything else you’d expect from a big, multi-genre convention, including a musical act!
This last weekend I enjoyed the warm tropical breezes (it was almost above freezing!) that blew over the beaches of Boston as I attended Arisia. Ahhh . . . Arisia . . . the con where I saw my first pair of Vulcan ears being worn in earnest, first stayed up all night playing Illuminati, and was first tempted to see if I could rest a can of soda on a pair of corseted . . . ummm . . . large tracts of land!
